Every year, Rushikulya Beach in Odisha turns into a special place where thousands of Olive Ridley Turtles come to lay their eggs. A few weeks later, tiny baby turtles hatch and make their way to the ocean—a sight that feels almost magical. The Rushikulya Turtle Festival gives you the chance to witness this incredible journey up close while also learning about the conservation efforts that help protect these endangered creatures.

But this trip isn’t just about turtles! You’ll get to explore some of the most beautiful places in Odisha. To complete the journey, a visit to the Tara Tarini Temple—one of Odisha’s most revered temples, set on a hilltop with breathtaking views—will add a spiritual touch to the trip.
