We specialise in creating a customised tour plan for any destination of your choice. Personalised Private tours have option of train or flight booking too. If you prefer travelling with your own group of people, -OR- would like to visit a place on any given date, we can create a plan as per your requirement.
What does Customised tour mean? is it a ready-made package?
No !, a customized tour is not a readymade package. A customized tour means creating a travel plan that’s specifically created as per preferences, requirements, choice and budget amount of a particular group or person.
Its similar to getting a dress stitched as per your choice of fabric, thread, waist size, color etc. The dress does not exist until its stitched as per your requirement so you cannot try-on a dress which as of today does not even exist. So, the tour we customise for you requires lot of work in terms of confirmations from hotels, travel vendors, etc and we get it done as per your choice.
How to begin with Customisation for any Destination.
- First step is to decide if you want free version of the tour or you wish to pay for the tour. The Free version of any tour can be sought from our team members. You can use it absolutely free. It is a general plan sample as per your needs. There are no arrangements done from our end nor do we provide personalise support in free version.
- Second step for You is to decide your Budget and Destination, so that we can prepare a plan that fits in your budget. Without this we cant even start working on your plan. Each customised plan is created according to the budget amount.
- Getting serious about the trip: If you want the paid version, wherein the itinerary is prepared as per your preference and your choice of hotels and within your budget, all this is done by getting confirmations from various vendors like hotels, cab and transport operators etc. to do this we need some token amount from you too. Which means you need to register for customising the tour by paying a tiny token amount of 1000/- per person.
- Phone Call: Once we receive customization confirmation from you, our team swings into action. We will have a discussion with you on phone (within 24 hours) to have clarity and to understand your requirement. We invest time and effort to secure commitments from trusted vendors, including hotels, resorts, travel vehicle providers, and third-party organizations, to find the best options that align with your needs and budget.
- Please note, the person count matters a lot, coz entire costing, capacity and rate of vehicle and all other things are based on your budget and count of participants.
- Once we have a draft plan ready we will share a PDF for your reference.
- Changes: If you wish to make changes in hotel, number of days, or any other aspect of the tour you can do so before final confirmation is given to related vendors.
- Final Confirmation: If you wish to confirm the plan you will have to make 50% payment of total tour cost so that we can get the arrangements confirmed.

What is included in the tour
- All the things you wish to get included in the total cost will be customised and included as per your choice.
- Travel options like trains and flights can be booked on your behalf.
- Vehicles for local travel can be arranged too.
Charges:
The total cost of customised Treks / Tours will be as per your budget. Its important to understand that a tour/trek can be planned with low-cost or high-cost based on your requirement, We create the tour plan based on Your budget amount and your preferences. Which means, total cost = your budget amount.
For Outstation Tours:
Initially you need to pay 1000/- per person to proceed with customization, the arrangements, planning, stay options, food, local travel, and all things depend on your preference. Customisation can be done for any number of people. Ideally customisation request needs to be made 30 days prior to the tour date.
For one day Treks near Mumbai:
Initially you need to pay 300/- per person to proceed with customization, the arrangements, planning, travel options, food, and all things depend on your preference. Ideally your group size needs to be of 25 people or more. Lesser count will make the charges go higher. Ideally customisation request needs to be made 10 days prior to the trek date.
Getting Confirmations:
As your tour/trek is entirely personalized based on your budget and preferences, the total cost depends on the details you provide in your customization request. After creating a tour plan based on your requirements, we'll send you a draft for your reference. If you're ready to proceed or wish to make any adjustments, you'll need to make an initial payment representing 50 percent of the estimated budget.
Final Payment:
Once we receive your partial payment for the finalised plan, we'll move forward to confirm the arrangements as outlined in the tour plan. The remaining balance must be paid 10 days before the event date and time.
Please note that hotel and other charges fluctuate daily, so the final cost depends on the rates in effect when you make the initial payment and authorize us to proceed with the booking on your behalf.
Additional Support:
We can assist you in booking cab for door to door pickup and drop from your city on your behalf. The rules, terms, and charges for these travel options will be as per the respective vendors, such as cab companies, transport provider etc. Availability and confirmations purely depend on the respective entities and Mischief Treks does not have any authority on any other vendors.

Which hotels can be included in the customised tour?
You have the flexibility to choose any available hotel in the entire region for your customised tour. We can recommend hotels based on our experience in the area, or you can pick one that suits your preference. After receiving your formal customisation request, we will share a recommended plan, which can be further customised according to your needs. What if I don't like the final customised Itinerary?
The chances of you not liking the final customised plan are Zero Percent, Why ? Because it's essentially a reflection of your own choices and selections. Logically speaking, its almost impossible that you Not-Like the plan which is created as per Your-Liking

In case you do not wish to proceed further for customisation, the initial payment of Rs.1,000.00 per person for tours and 300.00 per person for treks, is non-refundable and once the customized itinerary is sent to you, this amount gets utilized towards the efforts for customization process.

If the cancellation request is sent to us after the stay and other arrangements are confirmed, the following slabs will apply (number of days prior to departure date and time)
30+ Days prior: Cancellation charge will be 30% of the total tour cost.
20 to 30 Days prior: Cancellation charge will be 70% of the total tour cost.
00 to 20 Days prior: Cancellation Charge is 100% of the Total cost. i.e. No Refund is provided
For TREKS near Mumbai
If the cancellation request is sent to us after the stay and other arrangements are confirmed, the following slabs will apply (number of days prior to departure date and time)
10+ days Prior : Cancellation Charge 20% of Total Cost
06 to 10 Days prior: Cancellation Charge 50% of Total Cost
00 to 05 Days prior: Cancellation Charge 100% of the Total cost; No Refund is provided
