Day 1: 9th March, Delhi to Shimla
- Meet in Delhi and board a comfortable overnight bus to Shimla.
- Travel through the hills, leaving the busy city behind.
Day 2: 10th March, Shimla to Reckong Peo
- Arrive in Shimla, freshen up, then head to Reckong Peo, the entry to Kinnaur.
- Enjoy the views of the Sutlej River and the Kinner Kailash Range.
- Spend the night in Reckong Peo, a small town known for its apple orchards and high peaks.
Day 3: 11th March, Reckong Peo to Chitkul
- Travel to Chitkul, the last village before the Indo-Tibetan border.
- See the wooden houses and colorful prayer flags in the Baspa Valley.
- Have a picnic by the Baspa River.
- Return to Reckong Peo for the night.
Day 4: 12th March, Sangla Holi Festival
- Join the Sangla Holi Festival and see locals play with natural colors and dance the traditional Kinnauri Nati.
- Taste local food like siddu, churpi, and chhang.
- Enjoy the celebrations with the Himalayan views around you.
Day 5: 13th March, Holika Dahan & Cultural Celebrations
- Take part in the Holika Dahan bonfire, a ritual that marks the victory of good over evil.
- Gather with locals around the fire, listen to songs and prayers, and share stories.
- Return to Reckong Peo for your final night in Kinnaur.
Day 6: 14th March, Kinnaur to Shimla
- Leave Kinnaur and travel back to Shimla.
- Use free time to explore Shimla or relax in town.
- Board the overnight bus back to Delhi.
Day 7: 15th March, Arrival in Delhi
- Arrive in Delhi with great memories of the Sangla Holi Festival and your time in Kinnaur.

TRAIN TRAVEL:
- Our crew will be traveling by train from Mumbai for the event, You may choose to join the group from Mumbai itself. We can help you with booking train tickets. The Tour Leader will be carrying the tickets with him and he will be coordinating with TTE too.
- We get the train tickets from online IRCTC , if you book late you will get RAC/Waiting List Ticket. OR, you have to opt for Tatkal Ticket. Mischief Treks does not have any authority on Indian railways and train rules need to be followed with reference to your train travel. Roles and responsibility of Mischief Treks comes in from the point you exit train station and ends once you are back to the train station. Train/ Flight are beyond our controlling authority and hence not a part of our role in this tour. We can only provide help in your travel till Ajmer and back to Mumbai.
- In the situation wherein the waiting list ticket or RAC does not get confirmed we can get Tatkal tickets booked on your behalf. The charges for Tatkal needs to be paid accordingly. The regular quota ticket booking charges are already incorporated in the "With Ticket" option available while booking. Also there are various options for consideration as mentioned in detail in the cancellation policy.
- The organizer (Mischief Treks) reserves right to make changes to the itinerary depending on the situation (if need be).
- Please do not book this tour if any of the terms or details are not agreeable to you.
Coordination:
We will be creating a WhatsApp group 3 days prior to the event date for coordination and final instructions. The batch coordinator will be carrying all train tickets and will meet you at the train station. Apart from coordinator details and tickets all information is available on this page itself.
Age preference:
This event is suitable for 18 - 50 year old. Even if you don't fit into this age bracket you are more than welcome if you love to mingle up with likeminded people.

- Mischief Treks provides assistance in getting your tickets booked so that you don't have to go through the hassle and all the group members can travel together. As we do not have any control or authority on 3rd party services like train/flight tickets/operations, Our role in booking tickets is just that of a helping-hand.
- The organiser reserves right to make changes to the itinerary depending on the situation.
You can either reach the meeting point in Delhi via train or Flight. From there on the entire group will travel together in Bus.
How many people will be coming for the tour?
Depends on the number of people booking the event. Generally, the batch size is approximately 25-30 participants only. This ensures proper safety measures to be put in place for all participants of the group tour who have booked the package.
Is the tour safe for solo participants?
Yes, Group Tours conducted by Mischief Treks are safe and comfortable. Mostly 40% of the participants come solo and blend in with the leaders and the rest of the group.

What is the last date of booking the event?
Bookings close once tickets are sold out. Ideally, you need to book at least 1 month in advance.

- 75% will be refunded if cancelled 20 days (480+ hrs) in advance.

- 0% refund if the participant drops out, misses bus pickup, does not reach the meeting point on scheduled date and time.
NOTE: Please do not book this event if you do not agree to the terms and details mentioned on this page. This mutually agreed cancellation policy is applicable to the participant and us as well. The Date and time of cancellation request sent to us will be considered for calculation of the applicable slab given above. The date and time of booking the event are not relevant for calculating the number of days and hours remaining between the event date and cancellation request. It's a humble request, please do not give medical reasons, crib, argue or try to threaten/blackmail us if you drop out or cancel/reschedule the trek due to the situation at your end .
The basis of the cancelation policy is to protect the participant and the organizers from undue financial losses arising out of unforeseen situations. If the event gets canceled due to the medical/personal emergency of the organising team member, the participants will not have to suffer financial loss. Similarly, if there is a medical/personal emergency at the participant's end, the organizing team will not have to suffer financial loss.
Rescheduling request by Participant
If you need to reschedule your booking to any other date, it can be done only if the rescheduling request is sent at least 20 days prior to event date and time and the request will be considered after paying cancellation charges for stay and travel, booked for the given date. Rescheduling can only be done based on availability for the given date.
Cancellation Policy Explanation
The calculation will be based on total tour cost that you have booked. Incase you have paid only a partial amount, the partial payment (if any) is not taken into consideration for calculating refund percentage based on total tour cost. If the event itself gets cancelled by Mischief Treks, The participant will be given the option to switch to any other event or any other date, Or you can opt for 100% refund. No charges will be deducted and the Participant will gets full refund of the amount paid by him/her. If the Participant has initiated the cancellation request, The percentage of refund is applicable after deduction of third-party cancellation charges i.e. train and stay. The cancellation charges of train tickets and stay need to be paid by the participant. For this event the stay cancellation charges are 1500/- per person and train cancellation charges will be as applicable as per Indian Railways rules. Any external charges like convenience charges, train ticket booking charges of travel agents, or any other charges are not refundable. In case the train tickets booked for the tour remain in waiting until 24 hours prior to departure date, We can assist in getting Tatkal Tickets as per tatkal timing of IRCTC. Additional charges for Tatkal or premium needs to be paid by the participant as applicable. In case tatkal or premium tatkal is not available and existing waiting list ticket gets cancelled by IRCTC, The participant will have to cancel his/her tour as per Point number 3 in this section. Based on availability the Participant may be provided an option to reschedule the tour for a later date. The Rescheduling will be done as per residual amount after deducting stay cancellation charges and this would require differential charges to be paid by the participant. In case of Partial Payment for booking the slot, the balance payment needs to be paid 20 days prior to departure date and time. If the participant defaults in making payment and does not clear the dues 20 days prior to departure date, the partial amount will be forfeited and the participant will be considered drop out. Non-Adherence to any of the terms and details explained on this page, or intentionally ignoring the terms will lead to disciplinary action against the said participant and he/she may be expelled from the group.
